Communication-Focused Therapy (CFT) for Depression (2)

Depression is a mental health condition that affects a significant part of the population at least once over their life span, significantly reducing the quality of life and impairing work and relationships. The condition is mostly treated with psychotherapy and medication. Communication-Focused Therapy (CFT) is a therapy form developed by the author which focuses on communication processes to treat the condition. Improving internal and external communication and awareness for the own needs, values and aspirations is effective against several symptoms of depression and increases motivation and compliance for therapy.
